One of the largest exercises of the Turkish Armed Forces, EFES 2024 Exercise, the Computer-Aided Command Post Exercise Phase’s Exercise Control Center (ECC) Distinguished Observer Day was held in Istanbul with the participation of 267 military personnel, 87 of whom were foreign from 19 countries.

This year’s program, the fourth of the EFES 2024 Exercise, was organized at the Multinational Joint Warfare Center in Istanbul. The program was attended by 168 Turkish Armed Forces personnel, 12 representatives from public institutions, and a total of 267 military personnel from 19 countries, including 87 foreigners. Major General Rasim Yaldız also participated in the program as the exercise director.

The participating military personnel were first given a conference lasting about 40 minutes. Then, a tour was organized to visit and explain the computer-aided stages. Information was shared on how to communicate with military personnel from different countries and how to adhere to the exercise scenario. The positions of air, sea, and land vehicles were monitored, and detailed information about the exercise was provided. At the end of the program, a commemorative photo was taken with the military delegation.

Furthermore, the Computer-Aided Command Post Exercise Phase of the EFES 2024 Exercise will continue until May 8; and the Live Fire Exercise Phase will take place in Izmir between May 9 and May 30.
