Because Necmettin Keleş is one of the greatest sources of pride for Kayseri. They have shown us many heroes. They presented many people to us as heroes on television. Because you are studying in a school named after a hero like Necmettin Keleş. Necmettin Keleş is a hero who sacrificed his life for you and us. Therefore, your responsibility is very heavy. You will be worthy of this name.’ The school was officially opened with a ribbon cutting ceremony accompanied by prayers. Who is Necmettin Keleş? He was born in 1964 in Pınarbaşı district of Kayseri. A high school graduate and single, Keleş was martyred on August 12, 1986, when he was ambushed by terrorists at the entrance of Ballı village in Gülyazı, Uludere district of Şırnak, and shot. Martyr Necmettin Keleş was buried in Gülabi village of Pınarbaşı district.
