The Middle Black Sea Development Agency (OKA) board of directors convened in Çorum.
In the meeting held under the chairmanship of OKA Board Chairman and Çorum Governor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zülkif Dağlı, while the agenda items were discussed, a presentation covering the export activities in the region was made by the OKA General Secretariat.
Governor Zülkif Dağlı stated that development agencies, which are among the most concrete implementers of governance mechanisms in the field of regional development, have been carrying out efforts across the country to achieve the comprehensive development goals of the second century of the Republic. “The Middle Black Sea Development Agency, which consists of the provinces of Amasya, Çorum, Samsun, and Tokat, has successfully carried out beautiful projects so far in line with this goal, and in the upcoming process, it will continue its efforts to develop projects suitable for the potentials of our region and bring these projects to our region. In addition to the ongoing projects under the Central Programs conducted by the Ministry of Industry and Technology, we will discuss new project applications. Another topic we will address in our Board of Directors will be the ‘Anatolia’s Abundance, Accumulation, and Skills’ axis, developed under the patronage of Mrs. Emine Erdoğan, and the work we can develop in our regional provinces with the Anatolians Platform. The Anatolians carry important opportunities for promoting the examples of the rich Anatolian culture in our region, increasing their recognition, and passing them on to future generations. In this respect, we will focus on potential values that can be evaluated within the scope of the Anatolians in our provinces,” he said.
Amasya Governor Yılmaz Doruk, Tokat Governor Abdullah Köklü, Çorum Mayor Dr. Halil İbrahim Aşgın, Tokat Mayor Mehmet Kemal Yazıcıoğlu, and board members attended the meeting.
