Certificate of Equal Opportunity Model for Hepsiburada

Hepsiburada has received the ‘Equal Opportunity Model Certificate’ given by the Women Entrepreneurs Association of Turkey (KAGİDER).

Hepsiburada has been awarded the ‘Equal Opportunity Model Certificate’ by the Women Entrepreneurs Association of Turkey (KAGİDER) as an indicator of its efforts in supporting gender equality and women’s employment.

The certificate was presented by Neşecan Çekici, Member of the Board of Directors of KAGİDER and Leader of the Private Sector Relations Committee, at an event hosted by Hepsiburada CEO Nilhan Onal Gökçetekin and Hepsiburada Customer Experience and Human Resources Group President Esra Beyzadeoğlu. The event took place with the participation of employees from Hepsiburada’s solidarity network of female employees, called Hepsinspire.

Launched by Hepsiburada on March 8, 2023, Hepsinspire serves as a platform for female employees of Hepsiburada to inspire each other. With over 500 members, the platform aims to empower women employees by offering leadership training, mentorship opportunities, and networking events to help them succeed in their professional and social lives.

Hepsiburada CEO Nilhan Onal Gökçetekin stated, “Creating value for our stakeholders is in Hepsiburada’s DNA. We always prioritize supporting the empowerment of our female employees and entrepreneurs, and providing them with equal opportunities. Through our Women Entrepreneurs Empowerment with Technology program, we have supported over 50,000 female entrepreneurs, encouraged their success, and our goal is to reach 120,000 supported female entrepreneurs by 2030. The achievements of our female employees and entrepreneurs are fundamental to our sustainable and inclusive growth. Therefore, I find receiving this certificate at the Hepsinspire summer gathering particularly meaningful.”
