Information House students showcased their talents

Students attending painting courses at Osmangazi Municipality Information Houses experienced the joy and pride of exhibiting their works during the course. The study sessions of children aged 8-14 at Osmangazi Municipality’s Information Houses, which aim to support children’s education and personal development, were exhibited at the end of the course. The exhibition, which received great interest from the visitors, was a reflection of the creativity and effort of the young artists. The municipality officials expressed their satisfaction with the outcomes of the courses and emphasized the importance of such activities in nurturing creativity and skills in children.

Students attending the painting courses held at Osmangazi Municipality Information Houses experienced the happiness and pride of exhibiting the artworks they created during the course period.
Osmangazi Municipality organized an end-of-term exhibition for the students who received training in painting courses at Information Houses opened in various parts of the district with the aim of children aged between 8-14 to study, gain the habit of reading books, utilize their leisure time effectively, and develop their talents in the social field. A total of 310 students attending the Information Houses in Hüdavendigar, Emek, Demirtaş, and Pınarbaşı presented their total of 600 works of art created during the course period at the exhibition opened at the Panorama 1326 Bursa Conquest Museum.
The opening ceremony of the end-of-term exhibition consisting of paintings made by talented students was attended by Osmangazi Deputy Mayor Feyyaz Alptuğ Memişoğulları, Osmangazi Deputy Mayor Mutlu Esendemir, Osmangazi Municipal Council Member Necati Gezer, along with painting teachers, students, and families.
Osmangazi Deputy Mayor Feyyaz Alptuğ Memişoğulları, who made the opening speech of the end-of-term painting exhibition, said, “I am delighted to be present at the opening of this exhibition consisting of paintings of remarkable beauty created by talented hands. When I look at the paintings, I see beautiful artworks ranging from Atatürk’s portrait to the Turkish flag, from Van Gogh’s works to motifs from the Ottoman era. It is very valuable for our country, our city, and our district that our youth are interested in art. As Osmangazi Municipality, we support our children and young people in artistic and cultural activities with the courses we open. I congratulate all our children who have artworks in this exhibition one by one. I wish them success in their art lives.”
Osmangazi Deputy Mayor Mutlu Esendemir also stated in his speech, “It is a separate excitement and happiness for us to be here and to inaugurate this beautiful exhibition. I congratulate our children for this exhibition they opened as a result of their long efforts. Our children’s talents have also made us happy.”
Following the speeches, the protocol members, along with the children, cut the ribbon and opened the exhibition, walking through it carefully examining all the paintings.
