Environmental Activity at Gazi Primary School in Bursa

Approximately 100 parents and students at Gazi Primary School painted old tires to turn them into flower pots as part of the event held. With the colorful tires, the school gained a green area, and parents and students had an enjoyable day.

In addition to flowers planted in the pots, parsley, tomatoes, and various plants were added to bring color to the school garden. The event contributed to the development of environmental awareness and increasing the green areas of the school.

The Power of Women and Environmental Awareness

Emphasizing that the power of women is critical not only for their own future but also for the future of the world, Gazi Primary School Principal Derya Karateke stated that environmental activities have become a part of the school’s mission. Awareness about the environment is sought to be created through projects carried out at the school.

“Everything touched by a woman becomes beautiful” theme, Karateke mentioned that they operate with this theme and expressed that children will gain environmental awareness through these activities. It was emphasized that the aim is to increase the environmental sensitivity of the parents and students who participated in the event.
