Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality has started purchasing sesame from producers in Sındırgı as part of the Producer Support Model Project. The Mayor of Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality, Ahmet Akın, stated that they will purchase sesame at a price of 120 TL per kilogram.
