Bakırkoey District Governor Abdullah Köklü has been appointed to the vacant Tokat Governorship seat through a presidential decree. Following Numan Hatipoğlu's appointment as the Governor of Elazđğ, the vacant Tokat Governorship seat was filled by Istanbul Bakırkoey District Governor Abdullah Köklü.
