Unternehmerische Ausbildung für Berufsschüler in Sinop

In Sinop, entrepreneurship training was organized for vocational high school students.

In Sinop, under the coordination of the Provincial Directorate of National Education and in collaboration with the Provincial Directorate of Commerce, entrepreneurship training was organized for 12th-grade students attending vocational and technical secondary education institutions. The program, held at the Şehit Şakir Elkovan Public Education Center and attended by a large number of participants, began with a moment of silence and the National Anthem. During the training, students were provided with information on important topics such as “tax and registry records, social security transactions, treasury-supported loans, and KOSGEB supports.”

In the program, Sinop Deputy Governor Ali Osman Bulat stated that the concept of entrepreneurship can be perceived differently depending on everyone’s situation. Emphasizing that entrepreneurship is not solely based on large investments, Bulat said, “Entrepreneurship is a concept that everyone perceives according to their own situation in Turkey and the world. What comes to mind when we think of entrepreneurship? We can immediately perceive it as something that requires innovation and high investments in technology. My idea of entrepreneurship is this: producing meat and milk by buying three animals is also entrepreneurship. Making a new invention and making very high investments is also entrepreneurship. What is the difference here? Everyone makes an initiative according to their capacity and geography. What is important here is to use your own capacity.”

Sinop Provincial National Education Director Osman Cebeci highlighted the importance of such training in raising the entrepreneurs of the future, stating, “Today, we have come together to raise the entrepreneurs of the future and to provide the knowledge and equipment necessary for our young people to progress firmly in the business world. This program, organized with the support of our Ministry of Commerce and the Provincial Directorate of Commerce, offers an important educational opportunity on the path of entrepreneurship. Our Provincial Directorate of Commerce will guide you, our young people, on fundamental topics you need to know in the field of entrepreneurship, such as tax and registry records, social security transactions, treasury-supported loans, and KOSGEB supports, with our valuable educators. These trainings will guide our students who plan to enter the business world and have the potential to become tradesmen and artisans, equipping them with the knowledge and skills they will need when establishing their own businesses,” he said.

After the speeches, experts in their fields made presentations to the students on various topics. SME Expert Mustafa Bayrak provided information about treasury and KOSGEB supports, while Income Expert Şükrü Yılmaz addressed the topic of tax and registry records. Social Security Inspector Samet Özdemir presented information about social security transactions, and Provincial Director of Commerce Yavuz Selim Aykan made a presentation on credit supports.
