Die dritte Station der Schönheiten der Türkei ist Bursa

In Bursa, the third stop of the Culture Route Festivals, which will continue in 16 different cities in Turkey for 8 months, the ‘Turkey Beauties Exhibition’, curated by the Turkish Photo Journalists Association (TFMD), meets with the public. The Turkey Beauties Exhibition, which TFMD has taken to more than twenty countries from Germany to the USA, Russia to South Africa, India to Zambia, Qatar to Argentina, will be exhibited at the Bursa Merinos Atatürk Congress and Culture Center between June 1st and June 9th. The exhibition features 39 different photos taken by 31 master photographers. The selected beauties of Turkey TFMD’s ‘Turkey Beauties Exhibition’, which has been held continuously for 39 years, showcases the award-winning photos from the ‘Press Photos of the Year’ competition, leaving a mark on Turkey’s visual history. Since 2018, as a contribution to the promotion of the country, the ‘Turkey Beauties’ competition has been added as a separate competition to this photography contest. Selected from a vast archive of award-winning photos from the competition, which receives over 5,000 entries each year, the photos are moved to different cities around the world with different selections before being brought to the Turkey Culture Route Festivals this year, uniting art, culture, history in one place. Continuing to adorn the culture routes, Rıza Özel, the President of the Turkish Photo Journalists Association, emphasized the importance of the Turkey Beauties Exhibition meeting with the public through the Culture Route Festivals, the country’s most important cultural and artistic organization, stating, “The visual richness of our country continues to adorn the Culture Routes thanks to this exhibition. Our exhibition, which has previously been admired in many important cities of other countries, presenting the visual beauties we possess for the promotion of Turkey, is now meeting our citizens in Bursa after the Adana and Şanlıurfa Culture Route Festivals.” The names with photos in the exhibition include Ahmet Faruk Sarıkoç, Ahmet Aslan, Ahmet Turan Kural, Ali Mermertaş, Beytullah Eles, Cem Öksüz, Gülin Yiğiter, Erdem Şahin, Ekrem Kalkan, Emrah Gürel, Emrullah Akgün, Ercan Arslan, Esengül Alıcı, Hasan İçel, İsa Cıda, İsa Terli, İsmail Serhat Şahin, Levent Kulu, Mehmet Aslan, Meriç Aktar, Metin Öztürk, Ozan Güzelce, Rıza Özel, Selahattin Sönmez, Selçuk Şamiloğlu, Seymen Bozarslan, Sinan Çakmak, Soner Kılınç, Ufuk Turpcan, Ünal Çam, Tolga Adanalı.
