Continuously trying to realize his dream, Çelik took 18 written exams in 13 years but could not succeed in the exams. Çelik recently failed in the exam he took for the 2nd time in his 5th file. Reacting to the difficulty of the exam, Çelik said that he works day and night but cannot succeed.Abdurrahman Çelik, to draw attention to the difficulty of the driver’s license exam, stated that even doctors would have difficulty solving the questions. ‘My situation regarding the driver’s license exam started in 2011. Between 2011 and 2024, I renewed my 5th file several times. I just can’t pass the written exam. It’s because we don’t read much, I can’t understand what I read. If you ask a doctor, even a doctor wouldn’t know the answers to these questions,’ he said.’My driving and steering are very good but I just can’t pass this written exam.’Despite having a car, Çelik stated that he cannot use it and received a traffic fine for previously driving without a license. He mentioned that his neighbors take him from one place to another, saying, ‘There is a car in front of my house but I can’t use it. If my neighbors have a driver’s license, they take me to weddings, funerals, or somewhere else. My neighbors help me. I used the car without a license before, got caught, and received a fine. Since then, I haven’t been driving the car. When I first took the driver’s license exam, I was 40 years old, now I am 53. I have been unable to get a driver’s license for 13 years. I study the book given by the driving school, downloaded some programs on my phone and study from there. I work on all of them, but it just doesn’t work, I can’t pass the exam. I work day and night, but it’s not working out. My driving and steering are very good but I just can’t pass this written exam. That’s why I can’t get the driver’s license.’
