Rose cultivation along the Burdur Lake is more advantageous in terms of water consumption compared to clover and corn. The low water consumption of roses delays the drying of the lake and significantly contributes to the regional economy.

Valuable Price of Rose Oil

The price of a liter of rose oil, obtained from an average of 500 kilograms of roses, ranges from 10 to 12 thousand Euros. According to this year’s expectations, the value of rose oil will continue to be at high levels.

Increase in Harvest Quantity and Prices

It is stated that the harvest quantity has increased 2-3 times compared to last year. While the rose harvest was 30 tons last year, it is predicted to reach 100 tons this year. Prices are expected to range from 10 to 12 thousand Euros, similar to last year.
