Those who have mastered the looms can weave up to one meter per hour. However, yarn breakages and loom problems can prolong the process. Silk weaving is a more difficult and attention-demanding process. New students are expected to improve over time.

Students Hülya Kocakulak and Nejla Parmaksız are determined to keep the art of Gılamıklı weaving alive. Kocakulak aims to pass down this inherited art from her grandmothers to future generations, while Nejla Parmaksız is experiencing the joy of developing herself by transitioning from watchmaking to weaving art.
