Baby Days Event in Konyaaltı was Colorful

The Diaper Changing Race with Dads and Baby Crawling Race held at Bebek Park in Antalya’s Konyaaltı district offered colorful scenes. On the last day of the Baby Days organized by Konyaaltı Municipality at Konyaaltı Bebek Park within the scope of May 2nd World Baby Day, the Baby Crawling Race and Diaper Changing Race with Dads were organized. Konyaaltı Mayor Cem Kotan initiated the races and joined in the excitement of families.

A Competition Showing Love and Skills from Dads

In the ‘Diaper Changing Race with Dads’ where mothers were the jury, dads were evaluated based on being affectionate, kind, clean, fast, and practical. The rush of dads trying to diaper toy babies and their wives watching carefully led to unforgettable moments. Dads who were placed in the race were rewarded.

Dad Celalettin Kılıç Stood Out with His Skill

The father who raised 16 nieces and nephews won the competition in first place. Dad Celalettin Kılıç, who completed the race in 42 seconds, stated that he had practiced before the competition. Kılıç’s wife İpek Kılıç expressed her confidence in her husband’s success, saying, ‘I am naturally trained because I raised 16 nieces and nephews before birth.’

• Dad Celalettin Kılıç, who completed the race in 42 seconds, came in first place.
• The second-place dad finished the race in 50 seconds, the third-place dad in 56 seconds, and the fourth-place dad in 59 seconds.

All Babies Won in the Crawling Race

In the ‘Crawling Race’ where four babies competed, babies aged 0-1 started crawling on the mats. Although there was no winner of the race, all mothers were given baby diaper gifts.

In his speech at the event, Konyaaltı Mayor Cem Kotan emphasized that fathers should take an active role in childcare and asked dads to take care of their children in a careful and loving manner.
