CANiK TEAM hat mit einem neuen Europameisterschaftsrekord gewonnen.

CANiK Team athlete and CANiK Academy Sports Shooting Instructor Alperen Kıvılcım became the European champion at the IDPA European Championship 2024 in Budapest by hitting all targets with full accuracy in all stages, setting a record. The IDPA (International Defensive Pistol Association) European Championship 2024, which brings together the best shooters to showcase their skills in defensive pistol use, was held in Budapest. Alperen Kıvılcım, a member of the CANiK Team and a Sports Shooting Instructor at CANiK Academy, secured the championship by ranking first in the pistol categories overall at the IDPA European Championship 2024, where 414 participants from 23 different countries competed. Kıvılcım, who completed all stages with accurate shots achieving a ‘Down-Zero’ (hitting all targets with full accuracy in all stages) score, crowned his success with a difficult-to-break record. With this achievement, Kıvılcım won the Most Accurate, Carry Optic Division 1, Carry Optic Master 1, and High Industry awards using the world-famous CANiK SFx RIVAL-S pistol and MECANiK MO3 reflex sight, which was selected as the handgun of the year in the USA. CANiK Team, led by team captain Nils Jonasson, also claimed the European Championship in 2022. Jonasson, who competed against 515 sports shooters in the championship, won the ESP Division Champion, ESP DM First Place, and High International Handgun awards with the CANiK SFx Rival pistol.
Alperen Kıvılcım, the CANiK Academy Sports Shooting Instructor, stated, ‘We practice shooting sports with accuracy that no one thought possible. We have worked very hard for this success. Ismail Dut, the Director of CANiK Academy, expressed his happiness at CANiK Team becoming the European Champions once again after 2022 and achieving this success with a nearly impossible record. Stating that CANiK Academy, operating with the motto ‘Experience Teaches,’ has started to reap the benefits of the educational programs it has developed by approaching shooting sports scientifically, Dut emphasized that Alperen Kıvılcım, the Sports Shooting Instructor at CANiK Academy, becoming the undisputed European Champion with ‘zero errors’ is proof that they are on the right path. Dut highlighted that despite all the successes achieved so far, they are still at the beginning of the road. Furthermore, he stressed that the success of CANiK Team shooters is the result of a team effort conducted with scientific training, and they witness that the performance of team members is improving day by day through completely scientific training sessions, reaching unprecedented performances in sports shooting.
