In Bursa, hundreds of students held a 500-meter-long parade with a giant flag to condemn terrorism and celebrate the Republic. The students, who also condemned the treacherous attack on TUSAŞ before the Republic Day, marched holding flags as they walked on Ahmet Taner Kışlalı and Özlüce Boulevard.

With only a few days left to welcome the 101st anniversary of the Republic, students from Altınşehir Schools held a flag march with a 500-meter Turkish flag, condemning terrorism and sending a message of unity and solidarity to the entire country.

This year, the traditional flag march held annually as part of the Republic Day celebrations drew attention to the reaction against terrorism. The march organized by hundreds of students with a 500-meter-long Turkish flag, condemning the treacherous attack on TUSAŞ, attracted great interest from citizens as well. The event, which included participation from elementary, middle, and high school students, featured students creating an enthusiastic parade while proudly carrying the Turkish flag. The march, supported by teachers, veterans, and parents, was filled with colorful and meaningful moments.

Umut Gökçe, the founder of Altınşehir Schools, stated that students demonstrated their commitment to the values of the Republic with this meaningful march and that their unity is a source of pride. Gökçe also expressed that they condemned the treacherous terrorist attack on TUSAŞ as a school, saying, “Together with our 500-meter Turkish flag, we marched on Özlüce Boulevard with 900 students to both condemn terrorism and celebrate the upcoming 101st anniversary of our Republic. Together with our students, we shout once again that we stand by our homeland and our country. Our main goal here is to ensure that students become children who are attached to their homeland and nation and contribute to their country through production and ideas. We are a big family that loves and is connected to our country.”

With the intense participation of parents, the event gained even more significance as participants celebrated the 101st anniversary of the Republic with enthusiasm. Students experienced the excitement of carrying the 500-meter Turkish flag, receiving great admiration from the audience. The event left a lasting impression in memories with this meaningful march reflecting the spirit of Republic Day.
