The Ertuğrul ship arrived at the shore. There was a big applause from the people as Atatürk stepped out. He walked, raising his hand to the air, greeting the people. He was a very handsome man. There was a girl next to him in an officer’s uniform holding a small flag. I am Sabiha Gökçen,’ he said.
