A facility consisting of bungalows will be built around the pond located in Baraklı Village, which is affiliated to the Keles district of Bursa, on the southern slopes of Uludağ. When it comes to alternative tourism in Bursa, a new addition is being made to the facilities that come to mind in the mountain districts. It is planned to build a facility containing 40 bungalow houses around the natural wonder pond located in Baraklı Village of Keles district. The area around the pond, which is rented from BUSKİ for 10 years by the Baraklı Village Agricultural Development Cooperative, has become an indispensable destination for those who are tired of the heat in the summer and want to enjoy nature. The current venue continues to serve with a nominal entrance fee, toilets, children’s playground, benches, and barbecue areas, but due to forest fires, making fires has been prohibited. In addition, the pond provides activity areas for those who want to engage in sports fishing. The pond also hosts those who come to camp with tents and caravans. Baraklı Village Agricultural Development Cooperative President Ramazan Ertürk said, ‘We rented this place from BUSKİ. We have a project for a 40-unit bungalow facility. We want to add value not only to our village but also to Bursa. The work is currently in the draft stage. The best thing about this place is its natural beauty. The abundance of greenery, trees, oxygen, coolness, and the view of Uludağ are the best aspects. Especially in the summer months, people prefer this place. You can’t sleep without a blanket at night, and you’ll feel cold if you come without a jacket. During the fishing season, there is the opportunity to fish with a fishing line in the pond. When the complex is established, larger fish will be released into the pond. We will support sports fishing with a fishing line. Currently, we have toilets, a mosque, and drinking water. Caravans, campers, and day-trippers are currently receiving services from here.’
