As part of the aid campaigns carried out to support Gaza, which has been subjected to attacks by Israel in Bingöl, 4 trucks of flour were sent with the contributions of non-governmental organizations and citizens.
The trucks, which set off with a ceremony held in front of the municipal building accompanied by prayers, headed towards Gaza. Bingöl University Rector Prof. Dr. İbrahim Çapak emphasized the importance of individuals supporting such aid activities, stating, ‘Helping the people in Gaza is not only the responsibility of Muslims but of all humanity. We should support these people as much as we can and share their pains. We hope that these difficult times will end as soon as possible.’
The program was attended by the deputy mayor Sait Kolak, AFAD Provincial Director Mehmet Emin Boğatekin, and representatives of various non-governmental organizations.
