Sports training for thousands of children in 10 facilities and 14 branches from Seyhan Municipality

Seyhan Municipality Mayor Oya Tekin stated that they provide free sports training to thousands of children in 14 different branches in 10 facilities, aiming to ensure equal opportunities for children and create opportunities for them to reach their true potentials.
Seyhan Municipality held the opening ceremony of summer sports schools at Emre Gönlüşen Sports Complex. Tekin emphasized that their sports-related activities will continue with summer school programs during the summer months, expressing their determination to support future stars by always being by the side of sports and athletes.
“We value sports education greatly.” Tekin emphasized the importance of children’s happiness and future, stating, “We value sports education provided by experienced coaches in facilities owned by our municipality at certain points in Seyhan greatly. Due to the economic hardships experienced, our citizens are facing difficulties. With a social and populist understanding of municipalism, we are making great efforts to support our families with artistic, cultural, and sports activities. We want to provide equal opportunities for our children and offer them the chance to reach their true potentials. We will continue to increase sports activities in our district to evaluate the talents of children who want to engage in sports and protect them from bad habits.”
Mayor Tekin also pointed out the significant role of families in encouraging children to engage in sports and instilling the habit of exercising. She stated, “Our children should be encouraged to participate in sports and develop a habit of exercising. I believe that through cooperation with our families, talented and successful athletes in various branches will emerge from Seyhan.”
Adana Amateur Sports Clubs Federation (ASKF) President Ahmet Bozan, who attended the opening ceremony of Seyhan Municipality Summer Sports School, thanked Mayor Oya Tekin and her team on behalf of the federation for providing such a great opportunity to the children of Seyhan.
