The President of Religious Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ali Erbaş, stated, ‘As the Presidency of Religious Affairs, we have once again mobilized all our resources to ensure that our people do not experience any difficulties and can perform their worship in a comfortable environment.’ President of Religious Affairs Prof. Dr. Ali Erbaş exchanged Eid greetings with the personnel working at the central organization of the Turkey Religious Foundation. Erbaş, speaking during the Eid greetings, congratulated the personnel on the Feast of Sacrifice. ‘We have mobilized all our resources to ensure that our pilgrims do not experience any difficulties,’ Erbaş pointed out, stating that they have made efforts along with the personnel to ensure that nearly 90,000 citizens perform their Hajj pilgrimage in 2024 in the best possible way and guide them. He used the expressions, ‘As the Presidency of Religious Affairs, as always, we have mobilized all our resources to ensure that our people do not experience any difficulties and can perform their worship in a comfortable environment. We have received the prayers of our people. At the same time, this year again, we have received the first place award in terms of organization. This is a beauty that requires us to be proud as a nation.’ ‘We are experiencing the joy of having successfully carried out the Sacrifice organization with honor,’ Erbaş emphasized that the Turkey Religious Foundation (TDV) once again achieved a historic record during the Feast of Sacrifice. ‘As the Presidency of Religious Affairs and the Turkey Religious Foundation, we have delivered close to 750,000 shares of sacrificial animals to the needy without any difficulties. We are experiencing the joy of having successfully carried out such a large-scale organization with honor,’ he said. ‘Feasts lead to unity, togetherness, brotherhood, solidarity, and great beauties,’ Erbaş expressed that feasts are the most beautiful moments of Islamic civilization. He added, ‘Feasts lead to unity, togetherness, brotherhood, solidarity, and great beauties. Especially after fasting during Ramadan, waiting for that feast, eagerly and excitedly waiting for that beauty, reaching the feast, crowning the point we have reached after that 30-day fast. Before presenting our sacrifices to the needy on Eid al-Adha, performing the Eid prayer, and then during those 4 days, sharing, solidarity – of which the most important example is the sacrifice – visiting relatives, friends, neighbors; in any civilization in the world, these beauties do not exist.’
