“We are graduating approximately 200 students”

Speaking at the program, Sultangazi Mayor Av. Abdurrahman Dursun said, ‘Today we are at the finale of our Science Center. We are at the graduation ceremony. Our Science Center is a very strong science center. This year, we had 1,220 students in the 2023-2024 season, and these 1,220 students demonstrated their skills in 12 different branches of science, coding, natural sciences, art academy, music academy, and similar fields. They gained knowledge and education. We are now graduating approximately 200 students. It is both a graduation ceremony and the finale of our science center. We have five Technofest teams in our innovation center, and our friends can create various projects here. We provide areas and opportunities where they can realize projects related to robotic coding and coding. We have friends who take classes in the art academy. We also have those preparing for conservatory among our friends who are growing in this field. Here, we provide various trainings to children aged between 14 and 18. Some of them are middle school students. We also have students between the ages of 8 and 14, so this is a place where we provide education to children aged between 8 and 16. We attach great importance to our Science Center. We know that education is very important. Because we know that the studies related to education will guide the society, we are conducting serious studies in all areas.’

“We built our project ‘Sultan City’ model”

Speaking about her project, Ilgın Menay Demiralay said, ‘I worked on projects in the robotic coding course and we realized a project. In this project, we built our Sultan City model and used Arduino technologies. In this way, we made our Sultan City more technological.’
