Ece Su will represent our country at the Balkan Championship to be held on August 28-29 at Lake Ohrid in Macedonia. Following Emre Fatih Kartal and Meyra Kocaman, Ece Su Samastı became the third national athlete produced by Körfez Gençlerbirliği Sports Club in the field of swimming this season. Other young athletes Ömer Eymen Toptaş, Emre Oturgan, Meyra Kocaman, Ahsen Tanrıverdi, Elif Konukçu, and Atilla Aras Aydın also achieved successful results and significant gains in terms of competition experience. Our belief that we will see more of our athletes in the national team soon has increased. We would like to express our gratitude to our club administrators and elders, especially to Körfez Mayor Şener Söğüt, who have always supported us and our athletes financially and morally. We also thank our head coach Samet Işık and our group coach Elif Acar who worked at these races.
