ÖSYM President Ersoy: ‘We are doing our best to create a stress-free, quiet, and traffic-free environment’

The President of the Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM), Prof. Dr. Bayram Ali Ersoy, said, “We are doing our best to create a stress-free, quiet, and traffic-free environment, and we will continue to do so.”

This year, the 2024-Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS), which more than 3 million candidates will participate in, will be held on June 8-9 in 81 provinces and 245 exam centers across Turkey, as well as in the capital of Northern Cyprus, Nicosia, and the capital of Croatia, Zagreb. Prof. Dr. Bayram Ali Ersoy, the President of ÖSYM, made statements about the exam at Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University Faculty of Law. Ersoy stated that a process of nearly a year will come to an end this weekend, “In November, along with the gains that have been coming from the Board of Education for some time, thousands of our teachers have started their study processes for these students. This Saturday and Sunday, the process will come to an end. We are working in coordination with all units for this process. We are working to create a good exam environment for our children, a stress-free, quiet, and traffic-free exam environment for their comfort.”

“We thank approximately 1 million staff members”
“Currently, our exam coordination center in 81 provinces, based in Ankara, is working intensively,” said Ersoy, and continued:

“Therefore, we thank all the teachers, professors, police directors, motorized teams, gendarmerie, personnel in the population directorate, municipal staff, in short, everyone who has a role in this exam, approximately 1 million staff members. Today, in the TYT exam, 3,120,878 candidates will take the exam in 245 centers in Cyprus Nicosia and Zagreb. Hopefully, this exam will be successful for them, and we have done our best for them to get the return of their one or two years of study. We worked and strived for the sake of their efforts, regardless of the exam result. They are our most valuable. Hopefully, thinking that we are the most precious to them, we wish them to have a nice holiday by fulfilling our duty and giving them the return of their efforts. We are doing our best to create a stress-free, quiet, and traffic-free environment, and we will continue to do so.”

Ersoy said that the exam results will be announced on July 17.
