DSO will determine Denizli’s Productivity Roadmap through a workshop

Under the leadership of the Denizli Chamber of Industry (DSO) Productivity Commission in collaboration with Pamukkale University, a productivity workshop will be organized to reveal a ‘Productivity Report’ and a ‘Productivity Roadmap’ for Denizli.

During the DSO Denizli Industry Productivity Workshop, in a broad environment with the representation of different professional groups throughout the day, the evaluation of the current situation in the fields of professional groups in Denizli, the effectiveness of practices that form the basis for productivity efforts in businesses, and the identification of what businesses expect in terms of productivity efforts are aimed. At the same time, the results of the productivity panel and survey results of the workshop will be evaluated by the project team using scientific methods, and a ‘Productivity Report’ and a ‘Productivity Roadmap’ will be created for Denizli.

Sharing information about the Denizli Productivity Workshop to be organized, the Chairman of the DSO Board of Directors, Selim Kasapoğlu, stated, ‘As the Denizli Chamber of Industry, we have been conducting studies for the development and competitive sustainability of our members since our establishment. One of our goals is to increase the interest of our organizations in productivity efforts in the increasingly competitive environment and to enhance their competitive abilities through productivity studies. In this context, as the Denizli Chamber of Industry (DSO), we are conducting a project to determine a productivity roadmap with the support of an expert team consisting of Pamukkale University faculty members. Within the scope of this project, a survey has been sent to DSO Member Enterprises and data has been collected to reveal the current state of productivity efforts in the Denizli industry and to identify needs. Both owners of businesses and technical managers primarily responsible for the production of the business have been invited to participate in the workshop. Technical managers and business owners will be involved in different parallel working groups. Data will be compiled from interactive focus groups using brainstorming, semi-structured, and structured data acquisition approaches. No personal or corporate confidential information will be requested. The workshop will be conducted in three sessions, each moderated by a moderator for each focus group.’
