The 10th Peony Festival with Colorful Participations
The 10th Peony Festival, organized in Hasanlı-Sarıkavak by the Municipality of Şile and Şile Environmental Volunteers Association, was attended by Garrison Commander Colonel Mehmet Sutaşır, Mayor of Şile Özgür Kabadayı, and many citizens.
Emphasis on Love of Nature and Sustainable Living
The Peony Festival aims to raise awareness by highlighting environmental awareness, love of nature, and sustainable living concepts. The event held in Sarıkavak Village brings together nature enthusiasts to emphasize these values.
Special Events and Enjoyable Moments
Activities such as violin recital, local pastry tasting competition, and nature walk were organized at the festival. Participants spent a pleasant day accompanied by the violin performance of Suat Erdem. Additionally, the pastry tasting competition, where delicious pastries competed, created colorful moments.
Mayor of Şile, Özgür Kabadayı, thanked the participants in his opening speech at the festival and announced good news for the next year. Nabi Evren, the President of the Şile Environmental Volunteers Association, supported the event by emphasizing the natural, historical, and cultural values of Şile.
