YKS will be held this weekend

The Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS) organized by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) Presidency will be held tomorrow and on Sunday. The Higher Education Institutions Exam has received applications from 3,036,945 candidates. In the first session of YKS, which will be held tomorrow at 10:15, 3,036,945 candidates will take the Transition to Higher Education Exam (TYT). In the second session, the Undergraduate Placement Test (AYT), which will be held on Sunday, June 9 at 10:15, will be attended by 1,983,766 candidates, and in the third and final session, the Foreign Language Exam (YDT) to be held at 15:45 on the same day will be attended by a total of 228,814 candidates, including 218,316 in English, 5,717 in Arabic, 2,849 in German, 1,172 in French, and 760 in Russian. The exam will be held in all provinces of Turkey including the TRNC. The first session TYT, to be held tomorrow at 10:15, will last 165 minutes. The exam will include 120 questions from Turkish, Social Sciences, Basic Mathematics, and Natural Sciences. The second session AYT will start on June 9 at 10:15 and will last 180 minutes. AYT will consist of a booklet of 160 questions including Turkish Language and Literature, Social Sciences-1, Social Sciences-2, Mathematics, and Natural Sciences tests. The third and final session YDT will start at 15:45 on the same day. In the 120-minute exam to be held in German, Arabic, French, English, and Russian languages, candidates will be provided with a question booklet related to the foreign language they applied for. Candidates will not be admitted to the exam buildings after 10:00 for TYT and AYT, and after 15:30 for YDT. YKS candidates are required to bring their exam entrance and valid photo ID documents with them when coming to the exam. According to the ÖSYM calendar, YKS results will be announced on July 17, 2024.
