In the year-end exhibition where Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Yusuf Alemdar examined 482 works prepared in 5 different centers of SAMEK, each carrying meaningful traces, he stated, “This is where the value of labor and profession emerges, and art is the heart. Every year, thousands of our students produce valuable works. The gains here continue throughout their lives with them. Hopefully, we will improve widespread education by expanding the branches in SAMEK.” Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality continues its efforts towards enriching social life by valuing labor and art. In this context, Art and Vocational Training Courses (SAMEK), which are treated with great sensitivity throughout the year, organize beautiful end-of-year events where the labor displayed throughout the year is exhibited. In addition to Büyükşehir Karaman SAMEK, artworks by hundreds of students throughout the period in Ofis Art Center, Güneşler, 32 Evler, and Ozanlar Centers were exhibited at the end-of-year exhibition at Karaman SAMEK Center for art lovers to enjoy. Yusuf Alemdar, who visited the end-of-year exhibition, emphasized that they will improve widespread education by expanding the branches. Alemdar pointed out that SAMEK centers are the center of craft, art, and social life, saying, “This is not only an educational area but also the center of social life and communication for women. We will improve widespread educational activities by increasing the educational branches in SAMEK in the upcoming period. I congratulate all the students who produce a variety of products while emphasizing the zero waste vision. This is one of the very valuable educational areas where the value of labor, craft, and art emerges. Every year, thousands of our students produce valuable works. The gains here continue throughout their lives with them.”
