AK Party Malatya Deputy İnanç Siraç Kara Ölmeztoprak stated that a 700 million TL project will be carried out for the irrigation infrastructure of 4 districts. In Malatya, where 85% of the world’s dried apricot production is done, AK Party Malatya Deputy İnanç Siraç Kara Ölmeztoprak mentioned that they are making every effort to ensure that apricot producers do not face any problems regarding irrigation water in the upcoming season, and stated that improvement works worth a total of 700 million TL will be carried out in the irrigation areas in Akçadağ, Battalgazi, Hekimhan, and Doğanşehir districts. Member of Parliament Ölmeztoprak, who visited Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya, Energy and Natural Resources Minister Alparslan Bayraktar, AFAD President Okay Memiş, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Ebubekir Gizligider, TOKI President Ömer Bulut, Deputy Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Vedad Gürgen, and General Manager of ISKUR Samet Güneş in Ankara, discussed completed and ongoing housing projects and other projects. Speaking about the visits, Ölmeztoprak stated that they will continue their efforts tirelessly for the reconstruction and revitalization of Malatya, and emphasized that all necessary efforts will be made for the acceleration of urban planning and construction activities in Malatya. Additionally, he mentioned that detailed meetings will be held next week to accelerate the urban planning and construction activities specifically for Malatya. Malatya’s energy problems will also be addressed. Regarding the visit to Energy and Natural Resources Minister Alparslan Bayraktar, Deputy Ölmeztoprak stated, ‘We discussed the energy situations in our temporary housing centers and neighborhoods, as well as the natural gas-related conditions we shared in detail, and we received a promise for an urgent action meeting and project for Malatya right after the upcoming holiday. We will continue to reflect the demands regarding energy and gas to the field in the most positive way as soon as possible. I thank our Minister for his support in all these works carried out specifically for Malatya.’
