Motivational support for students taking exams in the earthquake zone

With the collaboration between Türk Telekom and Kızılay, education and technology support for students in the earthquake region continues. Türk Telekom provided technology support in Kızılay 100th Year Libraries, where students preparing for high school and university exams were given motivation support before the exams.

Türk Telekom continues to turn technology into goodness and benefit through its corporate social responsibility activities. In the classrooms located in the 100th Year Libraries where the company provides technology support, middle and high school students can prepare for Transition from Primary to Secondary Education (LGS) and Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS) with Sebit’s instructional videos, practice exams, and solved questions. In this context, motivation trainings were organized for students preparing for the LGS exam on June 2nd and the YKS exams on June 8-9 at Kızılay 100th Year Libraries.

34,000 students benefited from the libraries, and the goal is to reach 20 libraries by the end of the year.

Students preparing for the YKS and LGS exams met with expert trainers within the scope of motivation trainings. Topics such as ‘Exam Anxiety and Coping Methods’, ‘Exam Strategies’, ‘What to Do a Week Before the Exam?’, ‘Stress Management’, ‘Social and Emotional Skills’ were addressed during the motivation trainings. In addition to students taking the exam, parents also attended the trainings and heard advice from experts on how to support their children during the exam process. In addition to the organized trainings, students had the chance to increase their motivation by relieving their stress shortly before the exams through entertainment and play areas created in container cities.

Approximately 34,000 students benefited from the 100th Year Libraries established in Hatay as the first step in the collaboration between Türk Telekom, its subsidiary Sebit, and Kızılay, which were later established in Kahramanmaraş, Adıyaman, Osmaniye, Malatya, and Gaziantep, with the goal of reaching 20 libraries by the end of the year.
