Governor Köşger: ‘We are inviting Elon Musk to Adana’

Adana Governor Yavuz Selim Köşger stated that TEKNOFEST 2024 will be held in Adana between October 2-6, and they are expecting Elon Musk to come to Adana. This year, the 10th TEKNOFEST will take place at Adana Şakirpaşa Airport between October 2-6. TEKNOFEST Chairman Selçuk Bayraktar shared on his social media account, ‘We will be in Adana as a family between October 2-6. Let’s make our plans according to TEKNOFEST.’ A total of 1,630,000 participants and 788,161 teams applied for the technology competitions of TEKNOFEST 2024.
One of the world’s most important events Adana Governor Yavuz Selim Köşger made statements to the press about TEKNOFEST. Köşger emphasized that TEKNOFEST will be held with very high participation rates, stating, ‘The numbers of students and participants are quite high. A TEKNOFEST with over a million participants will be realized. TEKNOFEST is perhaps one of the most important festivals and competitions globally.’
“Daily routine security problems have even decreased” Governor Köşger, stating that Adana is the city of festivals, said, ‘We anticipate that the number of participants will exceed 1.5 million. Adana is already one of the cities in Turkey that excels in festivals. All the festivals we have organized so far had a huge turnout, great enthusiasm. We held the Taste Festival, Orange Blossom Carnival, and Culture Route Festival. All of them had very high participation. Our citizens had great enthusiasm. Despite such a crowded and external participation, even the daily routine security problems of Adana have decreased. We are organizing these festivals with such intense participation without any security incidents. We anticipate that we will successfully carry out these festivals.’
“We are waiting for Elon Musk” Adana Governor Köşger emphasized that they are expecting SpaceX and Tesla’s CEO Elon Musk to come to Adana as a guest of TEKNOFEST, saying, ‘Selçuk Bayraktar’s family will come to Adana. The top management of the T3 Foundation will also be here. There are already great shows in the program. The Turkish Stars will be here, there will be other air shows, competitions. Also, Elon Musk had promised to come last year. We are waiting for him.’
