ESİM and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Employment Office give hope to job seekers

A mass interview organization was held in collaboration with the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Employment Office and hosted by the Eyüpsultan Municipality with the participation of three different companies. During the event, Eyüpsultan Mayor Mithat Bülent Özmen chatted with the young people attending the interviews and stated, ‘Now, with both the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and Eyüpsultan Municipality regional employment offices, we will make jobs that will turn the hopes of young people into reality.’ Eyüpsultan Employment Center (ESİM) and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Employment Office collaborated to organize a mass interview event with the participation of three different companies. At the Ottoman Park Wedding Hall, citizens applied for job openings in various positions announced by MNG Airlines, My Staff, and Güray Metal and Plastic Company. The event provided an important opportunity for young people who aim to take a solid step into their careers and start their career journey in a corporate company, as they had the chance to meet face-to-face with the representatives of the companies and submit their applications.
“We will create jobs that will turn the hopes of young people into reality” Eyüpsultan Mayor Mithat Bülent Özmen, who visited the organization, chatted with the young people who participated in the interviews and supported them in their job applications. Mayor Özmen stated that there is a significant young population in Istanbul waiting to be employed and that Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality has been very successful in this regard with its Regional Employment Offices. He said, ‘We need to put more effort into creating job opportunities and facilities. In this regard, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality has had a very successful period with its regional employment offices. As Eyüpsultan Municipality, we are also working very efficiently in this regard. Now, with both the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and Eyüpsultan Municipality regional employment offices, and the employment center, we will create jobs that will turn the hopes of young people into reality. We aim to expand these areas. Our companies here will employ more than needed. There is a need, and we are aware of it. This is a very nice and correct job. We will make our efforts even more effective. Hopefully, we will contribute even more to the youth. Hopefully, we will fulfill what the youth hope and dream of.’
