The ‘TÜBİTAK 4006 Science Fair’, prepared with great effort by the students and teachers in cooperation between Samsun Vezirköprü Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School and Sarıalan Middle School, has been opened. The opening ribbon of the fair was cut by Vezirköprü District Governor Özgür Kaya, District Gendarmerie Commander Major Ümit Çetinkaya, and school principals together. At the TÜBİTAK 4006 Science Fair, projects from many branches of science were exhibited. Within the scope of the fair, students’ projects were showcased and presented to the guests under the supervision of mentor teachers. Visitors examined the students’ projects with interest and expressed their admiration. The projects at the fair, such as ‘Vezirkuş’ – Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV), ‘Rainwater Use in Agricultural Areas’, ‘Forest Fire Warning System’, ‘Lane-keeping Vehicle Design’, ‘Methane Gas Detector’, ‘Brachistochrone Effect’ – ‘Smart Beehive System’, ‘New Generation Fuels Used in Spacecraft’, ‘Denaturation of Protein’, ‘Virtual Photosynthesis for Plants’, ‘Wildlife Protection Technology’, ‘Robot Spider Design’, and ‘Advanced Energy Storage Systems’ received full marks from the guests for their uniqueness. District Governor Özgür Kaya received detailed information about all the projects, wished success to the students, teachers, and school administrators for their various outstanding works, and thanked them. The program was attended by District Director of National Education Resül Özata, Director of Fazıl Ahmet Paşa Public Library Kani Öztürk, Principal of Vezirköprü Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School Fazıl Gezer, Principal of Sarıalan Middle School Ahmet Konuşum, and the teacher responsible for the project Yusuf Bektaş, along with teachers, parents, students, and many guests.
