Esenyurt Municipality Visited Disabled and Elderly Mothers

Esenyurt Municipality visited disabled and elderly mothers living in the district at their homes on Mother’s Day. During the visit, which took place upon the instruction of Mayor Özer, gifts and flowers were presented to disabled and elderly mothers. Municipal teams, conveying the greetings of Mayor Ahmet Özer to the mothers, listened to the problems and needs of disabled and elderly mothers one by one in order to take the necessary actions. The mothers, expressing their happiness due to the surprise visit, thanked Mayor Özer for not forgetting them on such a special day.

Special Message to Mothers

Municipal Mayor Prof. Dr. Ahmet Özer, in his speech during the visit, said, ‘I sincerely congratulate the day of our mothers, whose hearts are full of compassion and mercy, enduring every difficulty for the happiness of their children, especially our disabled mothers. The saying ‘Heaven lies under the feet of mothers’ is not said in vain. In fact, not only for a day but every day, every hour, every second, it is the right place to remember our mothers, we cannot repay their efforts. The first architect of all of us is our mother. One of the biggest reasons for a society to be good or bad, to progress or regress, is women. That’s why women are our red line. We will do our best to ensure that women are present in life,’ he said.
