The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry made an announcement that will delight tea producers for the year 2024. The Ministry has set the purchase price of green tea per kilogram at 17 Turkish Lira.
In the announcement made on the Ministry’s social media account, it was stated that the purchase price of green tea for the year 2024 was determined as 17 Turkish Lira per kilogram and the support amount given to producers was 2 Turkish Lira. Thus, it was indicated that tea producers would receive 19 Turkish Lira per kilogram in the year 2024. It was emphasized that this support decision would provide significant contribution to tea producers.
