Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz stated in his speech at the Investment Environment Improvement Coordination Board (YOİKK) meeting that they aim to provide an environment where investors have confidence, strengthen financial stability, and target sustainable growth and increased employment in the country. He emphasized that they have carried out significant work considering the international perspective within the framework of the YOİKK Action Plan.

Developments According to the YOİKK Action Plan

Vice President Yılmaz announced that out of the 57 actions in the YOİKK Action Plan announced to the public in March 2024, 6 have been completed, and 2 are in the final stages of completion. Among the completed actions are amendments related to the Personal Data Protection Law, strategic prioritization studies on investment loans, and legislative regulations enabling capacity increase based on new energy sources.

Cevdet Yılmaz mentioned in the meeting that they will address topics such as vocational education and employment policies, transformation in vocational technical education focused on the private sector, skill and competency development, and meeting the needs in the labor market, and reiterated their determination to implement structural reforms in the Medium-Term Program.
