Humanitarian Intervention by Police Officers in Tunceli

In Tunceli, on April 13, two police officers who were visiting as guests witnessed a suicide attempt by hearing cries for help from their neighbors. Their efforts to save the person they found hanging on a natural gas pipe resulted in success thanks to the quick and decisive intervention of the police officers.

The police officers who acted quickly during the incident took the necessary steps to save the person attempting suicide. The police officers, who were in the right place at the right time, showed great sacrifice to rescue the individual. The person, whose life was not in danger, was taken to the hospital, treated, and stabilized.

Governor Tekbıyıkoğlu Presented a Letter of Appreciation

After the incident, Governor of Tunceli, Bülent Tekbıyıkoğlu, hosted the police officers in his office and presented a letter of appreciation. Governor Tekbıyıkoğlu thanked the police officers for their courage and humanity.
