Central Bank Reserves Increased
The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) announced its weekly monetary and banking statistics for the week of May 3. According to the data, the total reserves of the Central Bank increased by $2,775 million to $126,855 million.
- Gross Foreign Exchange Reserves: Gross foreign exchange reserves within the total reserves rose by $4,181 million to $69,148 million.
- Gold Reserves: Gold reserves, on the other hand, decreased by $1,406 million during the same period to $57,707 million.
