The 6th Tulip Festival held in the Korkut district of Muş witnessed colorful and lively moments. One of the most remarkable moments of the festival was when Japanese artist Yamada Tamaru performed the Muş Tulip song in Japanese. Yamada Tamaru emotionally sang the song representing the tulips, which have become a symbol of Muş, in Japanese and received great admiration from the audience.

Speeches by Governor Avni Çakır and Mayor Haşim Arık

Speaking at the festival organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Muş Governor Avni Çakır emphasized the importance of the festival, stating that cultural events are crucial in bringing society together and remembering values. Mayor Haşim Arık of Korkut highlighted the historical significance of the festival in the district and mentioned that similar events will be organized in the coming years.

During the festival where the folk dance group of Muş Public Education Center performed, the attendees enjoyed the festivities by dancing halay. Furthermore, local artists sang Turkish and Kurdish songs on stage, while Muş’s Photographer Adem Kapan opened an exhibition.

The Turkish Red Crescent Muş Branch supported the event by providing soup and water to the attendees at the festival.
