The lifeless bodies of 2 workers were reached as a result of the land slide in the district mine

In the mining quarry located in the İliç district of Erzincan, the bodies of 2 workers who were trapped underground due to a landslide on February 13th were reached today. Anagold Mining stated in a press release that the bodies of the 2 valuable employees who were lost in the tragic accident have been reached.

The written statement by Anagold Mining included the following statements: “Following the unfortunate accident that occurred in our waste mine on February 13, 2024, we sadly announce that we have reached the bodies of our 2 valuable colleagues who were missing as a result of search efforts. We extend our condolences to the late Ramazan Çimen and Kenan Öz, and express our deepest sympathy and condolences to their families and all colleagues.

We continue our efforts to learn the fate of the 5 valuable colleagues who are still unreachable, and strive to support their families. Our top priority in this challenging process is to reach the missing employees and support their families. As Anagold, we will continue to stand by the families and meticulously carry on with the search efforts.
