Heavy Rainfall in Taksim

Heavy rainfall in Taksim Square caught tourists and citizens unprepared. The weather suddenly changed, turning into a heavy rain shower. Some citizens protected themselves using umbrellas and raincoats, while those unprepared couldn’t escape getting wet.

The intensity of the rain increased to the point where the streets of Taksim turned into a lake. Some tourists and locals tried to find ways to cope with the sudden rain, while some enjoyed the pleasant rain. However, in general, those caught unprepared remained unprotected against the rain.
