Consultation meeting with representatives of construction supervision companies at Niğde Municipality.

Niğde Mayor Emrah Özdemir held a consultation meeting with representatives of building inspection firms operating in the city.
In the meeting where evaluations regarding the operation of the ‘e-permit’ application implemented by Niğde Municipality were made, steps taken in the context of constructing disaster-resistant buildings and safe urban planning were also discussed.
Representatives from the construction sector showed great interest in the consultation meeting held in the Niğde Municipality Council Hall.
During the meeting, the ‘e-permit’ and ‘e-drawing’ applications, which were launched by Niğde Municipality approximately three months ago and provide significant convenience for building inspection firms and authors, were explained in detail to sector representatives.
In the meeting, where ideas were exchanged regarding projects related to building permits and the process for the ‘building usage permit’, measures taken to eliminate differences in application among building inspection organizations and to ensure standardization were also discussed.

The requests and desires of company representatives were discussed.
In the meeting, where the problems experienced in the applications at construction sites and the measures to be implemented to address these issues were explained, the demands of the municipality’s technical personnel for the on-site implementation of projects were also expressed.
The meeting concluded with listening to the requests and desires of building inspection organizations and determining the steps to be taken to carry out the applications more quickly and effectively.
Niğde Mayor Emrah Özdemir, in his speech addressing the representatives of building inspection firms, stated that they are determined to shape the future of Niğde, a city that is developing, transforming, and growing, in the Century of Turkey.
Stating that they are in constant consultation with non-governmental organizations, universities, professional chambers, and sector representatives for the orderly and safe urbanization of the city, Mayor Özdemir said, “The consultation meeting we held with building inspection firms operating in our province was also very productive. We exchanged ideas about the operation of the e-permit application, which is an important digital transformation initiative of Niğde Municipality, and we made significant contributions to the steps we will take to ensure that the urban development of our city is safe and orderly. I would like to express once again that we are pleased with the great interest shown by sector representatives in the new application, which has many important advantages, especially in terms of time savings.”
Mayor Emrah Özdemir also added that despite Niğde being a safe province in terms of seismicity, the efforts they have initiated to create a city that is more secure in every aspect with disaster-resistant structures will continue to increase.
