Justice and Development Party Bursa Deputy, Chairman of the TBMM Industry, Trade, Energy, Natural Resources, Information and Technology Commission Mustafa Varank met with students of Bursa Uludağ University (BUÜ). Varank stated that qualified and skilled individuals will have a say in the future of Turkey and the world.
Having dinner with young people in the student cafeteria on Görükle Campus, Mustafa Varank chatted with the youth about the recent technological leaps made by the Republic of Turkey, space research, ongoing software projects, electric cars, artificial intelligence, initiatives in the defense industry, TOGG, UAVs, armed drones, and TEKNOFEST activities. He expressed that there are more reasons for young people to be hopeful about the future, that the opportunities to find jobs according to their skills have increased, and that qualified, skilled personnel will have a say in the future of Turkey and the world.
Young people will be the guarantee of a strong Turkey
Emphasizing that they will continue to stand by young people in every field, Varank said, “Under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, we want to build a Turkey that is not only a market but also a producer of critical technologies within the framework of the ‘National Technology Move’ vision we have defined, and we work tirelessly for this. We have placed young people at the center of all efforts carried out with this goal. We want to walk together with young people in many areas, from aviation to space, from the defense industry to electric vehicles, from software to artificial intelligence. We highly value the precious students of Bursa Uludağ University in this regard. You will be the greatest guarantee of a strong Turkey.”
Later, Bursa Deputy Mustafa Varank visited the newly completed Dr. Arif Ağaoğlu Advanced Technology Center and received information from BUÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Ferudun Yılmaz and other officials about the scientific activities that will be conducted in the center.
Finally, Varank also visited the mosque under construction on the campus.
