The Collective Bargaining Agreement negotiations conducted between the DİSK General-İş Union and Kartal Municipality have concluded with an agreement.
In January 2024, the minimum gross daily wage to be given to workers will be 666.75 TL, while under the new contract, this figure has increased to 1,430 TL gross. Accordingly, the net minimum wage for workers in January 2024, which was 29,940 TL gross, has been raised to 46,931.23 TL net. This monthly net wage, which will be applicable in the first tax bracket, is set as the lowest salary for workers employed at Kartal Municipality. This wage includes Daily Wage, Meal, Transportation, Fuel, Social Assistance, a 60-day bonus, and Seniority Increase. Therefore, the bare amount that will appear on the payroll, including union dues, will be 37,705.62 TL. Additionally, this wage increase will be valid from July 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024, and an increase will be made in January 2025 based on the CPI rate, with this increase being repeated every six months based on the CPI rate. This amount does not include Responsibility Fee, Disabled – Non-disabled Child Assistance, Educational Assistance, May 1 Bonus, March 8 Bonus, Disabled Day Bonus, Ramadan and Sacrifice Holiday Bonuses, and Summer-Winter Clothing Assistance. These supports will be calculated separately and paid to the workers. In addition to the agreed wage, extra social supports such as driving fees, odor compensation, wear and tear compensation, temporary duty travel allowances, birth, marriage, and disaster support payments will also be calculated and paid based on the employees’ marital status, types of duties, job positions, and responsibilities.
