Turkish Airlines Technical Inc., which is among the leaders of the global aircraft maintenance and repair industry, along with Turkish Airlines and SunExpress, has signed landing gear maintenance agreements with Component Pool.
Turkish Airlines Technical Inc., an important organization in the global aircraft maintenance and repair industry, along with Turkish Airlines and SunExpress, has signed landing gear maintenance agreements with Component Pool. According to the signed component support agreement, SunExpress will have access to the extensive component inventory and comprehensive maintenance repair capabilities of Turkish Airlines Technical Inc. for five years. This service will cover both SunExpress’s Boeing 737NG and Boeing 737MAX fleets, providing optimal availability for components and minimizing the time aircraft spend on the ground. The other agreement covers landing gear maintenance, repair operations, and spare parts supply for the aircraft in SunExpress’s Boeing 737NG fleet. With these comprehensive agreements, Turkish Airlines Technical Inc. supports SunExpress’s operational continuity and fleet readiness while further strengthening SunExpress’s capability to provide timely and reliable service to its customers.

Regarding the signing of the agreement, Mikail Akbulut, General Manager and Board Member of THY Technical Inc., stated, “As our partnership with SunExpress exceeds 10 years, we are pleased to strengthen it with new agreements and enhance SunExpress’s operational efficiency with our comprehensive component services. We thank SunExpress for their trust in our expertise and aim to solidify Turkey’s strong position in the global aviation world together.”
Speaking about the continuation of the collaboration, SunExpress CEO Max Kownatzki stated that their collaboration with Turkish Airlines Technical Inc. will provide reliable service to customers in terms of component support and landing gear maintenance.
