Advice for Students: “Diligent Work” for 40 Years of Successful Career Comfort

Experts advised students to allocate a significant portion of their day to exam preparation for a successful exam and career.

With only a few days left until millions of students enter the first semester break, experts emphasized the importance of making good use of the holiday days. Highlighting that spending time on social media during the holiday can be harmful, experts pointed out that students who have a good university or high school life tend to be more comfortable in their 40-year professional careers, stressing the importance of 8 hours of study for success.

Guidance Specialist Özcan Aladağ noted that during this period when the YKS and LGS processes have started, students need to prepare intensively for exams. “When we look at YKS and LGS, we can say that students who manage their time well during the exam preparations are more successful. We see that both school-going and graduated students are preparing for the exams with a high intensity. Of course, we can say that students who make good use of this period are successful in these exams. We have seen that students who want to achieve high rankings in both YKS and LGS are working very hard. In fact, some students mentioned that they solved as many practice tests and books as their height during the LGS process. We see that many students allocate 8 hours of their day to studying,” he said.

Emphasizing the importance of the student period for a comfortable professional life, Aladağ stated, “During this period, students must put in so much effort that they need to make the most of their 40-year professional life. Because both YKS and LGS are opportunities given to students. We can say that students who successfully complete a 4-year university life or a 4-year high school life are much more comfortable in their 40-year professional careers. We see that students are following an intense curriculum both in their schools and in courses during this period. We can say that these topics should be reinforced by reviewing at least 3 to 4 sources. Students who time themselves and solve questions under time constraints find it easier to manage the exams. There are many distractions for students. Social media and the nice weather these days can keep students away from classes and schools. However, we see that students who make sacrifices and those who make good use of this process tend to be more successful in exams. Both screening tests and practice exams provide a great trial opportunity for students in the YKS and LGS exams. We can say that students who analyze these practice exams well can elevate this success to a higher level in the actual exam,” he stated.
