Gökhan Kanal has been re-elected as the district chairman of the AK Party in Pasinler.

The 8th Ordinary Congress of the AK Party Pasinler District was held with a large turnout. The current president, Gökhan Kanal, was re-elected as the AK Party Pasinler District President.

The AK Party Erzurum Provincial Organization continues to hold district congresses. The 8th Ordinary Congress of the Pasinler AK Party District Organization was held with great enthusiasm. Approximately one thousand people attended the congress held at the Pasinler Indoor Sports Hall.

Former Minister of Interior and Erzurum Deputy Selami Altınok, Deputy Fatma Öncü, Provincial Coordinator Amasya Deputy Hasan Çilez, Metropolitan Mayor Mehmet Sekmen, Provincial Chairman İbrahim Küçükoğlu, Yakutiye Mayor Mahmut Uçar, Palandöken Mayor Muhammet Sunar, Horasan Mayor Hayrettin Özdemir, Köprüköy Mayor Nevzat Karasu, I Youth Branch President Gökberk Kocaelililer, Women’s Branch President Beyza Saltuklu Özdemir, provincial and district board members, women and youth branch organization members, NGO representatives, and party members attended the congress.

In a speech at the 8th Ordinary Congress of the Pasinler AK Party, District President Gökhan Kanal said: “By saying ‘One Nation, One Flag, One Homeland, One State,’ we have been striving to fulfill every duty assigned to us in order to contribute even as little as a drop in the ocean to our world leader, our President, and our General Chairman, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who has devoted his life to his country and nation, and to his comrades in the cause. Since the very first day we took office, we have been living the rightful pride and happiness of serving my AK Party. I would like to extend my endless thanks to all my esteemed elders, especially our President, who deemed us worthy of this duty once again.”

In the subsequent elections, Gökhan Kanal was re-elected as the AK Party Pasinler District President, running unopposed.
