Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin in Diyarbakır
The Minister of National Education, Yusuf Tekin, visited the Diyarbakır Governorship and met with Governor Ali İhsan Su. During the visit, Minister Tekin signed the Honor Book, attended the Provincial Education Evaluation Meeting, and made statements.
Changes in Physical Infrastructure and Number of Teachers
Minister Tekin stated that significant developments have taken place in Diyarbakır in the last 20 years, as in Turkey as a whole. He emphasized that with the increase in the number of classrooms, the ratio of teachers to students has changed positively. Additionally, he expressed that with the construction of new schools and teacher appointments, the quality of education will be further improved.
Changes in Education Programs
Minister Tekin stated that changes in education programs have received attention from various segments of society and that these contributions will be evaluated. Minister Tekin, who stated that the studies on curriculum changes are impressive, expressed that the programs have been downloaded over 1 million times, receiving great interest.
