President Çolakbayrakdar: “We are touching the lives of our citizens with social facilities.”

Kocasinan Mayor Ahmet Çolakbayrakdar, who brings a new breath to Kocasinan with a people-centered, service-oriented municipal understanding, continues to change the face of the district with the social living spaces he has created. Having signed many projects for the future of Kocasinan and equipping the district with social facilities, Mayor Çolakbayrakdar has so far provided a total of 42 modern social facilities for the citizens.

Stating that they are making Kocasinan a more modern and comfortable district every day, Mayor Çolakbayrakdar expressed that they are building modern social facilities to add color to the lives of citizens. Emphasizing that the social facilities provided to neighborhoods serve everyone from 7 to 70, Mayor Çolakbayrakdar said, “We are constantly working to provide better services to our citizens. The modern social facilities we have built bring great vitality to the social, cultural, and artistic life of the neighborhoods. We are increasing the number of our facilities that turn our neighborhoods into attraction centers every day. The intense interest and satisfaction of our citizens in our facilities encourage us to provide new ones. In this context, we have brought a total of 42 social facilities to our district. Especially, the Kocasinan Academy social facility in Erkilet Ertuğrulgazi Neighborhood, which we opened at the beginning of the year, is the largest in Kayseri and serves in every area. Our facility has two swimming pools, one for women and one for men, a sports center where sports such as fitness, pilates, and aerobics are practiced, and areas where children and young people engage in different activities. Lastly, we have introduced the Kuşçu Water Sports Center, which we opened in the summer, equipped with all kinds of quality equipment for water sports in Kayseri. May it be a blessing and good fortune,” he stated.

“A living library that will attract the interest of every age group from Kocasinan”
Mayor Çolakbayrakdar also stated that the Sinan Libraries are a great asset for Turkey, emphasizing that they are building places where the people of Kayseri can spend their time happily and peacefully, adding value to their lives. “Our youth are our apple of the eye. Whatever we do for our young people is not enough,” said Mayor Çolakbayrakdar, highlighting that they have established Sinan Libraries in areas where there is a need. “With the Sinan Library we opened in Fevziçakmak Neighborhood, we have provided another facility where our youth can study and spend their time efficiently. When the works in our cultural center in Osmangazi Neighborhood are completed, it will serve as a library. Additionally, it will have sections for baby and children’s libraries, making it a unique center. With this facility, we will also have brought Café Sinan to the region. With the services we provide, we are adding color and excitement to each of our neighborhoods. Our entire effort is to build and implement places where our fellow citizens can spend happy and peaceful times,” he said.

Mayor Çolakbayrakdar emphasized that they are making intense efforts to advance Kocasinan as it deserves, adding that they will continue to increase projects and investments until people say, “Living in Kocasinan is a privilege.”
