TSE will support the approval process of Togg T10F.

TSE President Mahmut Sami Şahin announced that technical service will be provided by TSE as part of the National Type Approval Certification process and AT Type Approval tests for Togg’s sedan prototype vehicle T10F.
On October 14, World Standards Day, and within the scope of the 70th anniversary events of the Turkish Standards Institute (TSE), Dr. Sung Hwan Cho, President of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), visited Turkey as a guest of TSE President Mahmut Sami Şahin, and together they visited the Technology Campus of Turkey’s Automobile Initiative Group (TOGG) located in Gemlik, Bursa, and the TSE Gebze Quality Campus.
At the beginning of the visit, President Şahin and President Hwan Cho toured the laboratories at the TSE Gebze Quality Campus and received information about the institute’s ongoing work. Following this, the delegation visiting the Togg Technology Campus conducted a test drive. Togg CEO Mehmet Gürcan Karakaş provided a brief overview to the delegation about the ongoing activities.

TSE will provide technical support for Togg’s T10F prototype
President Şahin announced that after the first vehicle T10X of the local and national first smart device brand Togg, technical service will be provided by TSE for the sedan prototype vehicle T10F as part of the National Type Approval Certification process and AT Type Approval tests. Şahin emphasized that these steps would contribute to strengthening local automobile production.

“TSE’s role in Togg is considered an important step”
Recalling that they played an active role as TSE in the Vehicle Type Approval Test processes of Togg, Turkey’s first local and national smart device, President Şahin stated, “While we directly conducted Togg’s domestic tests, we also participated in foreign tests. In addition, we completed the Vehicle Type Approval Certification process by checking the compliance of Togg’s production. We carried out the preparation of the prototype vehicle, preliminary tests, type tests, and documentation studies. TSE’s participation is considered an important step to prove Togg’s compliance with national and international standards and to increase its reliability.”

Expressing great pleasure in visiting the TSE Gebze Quality Campus, ISO President Hwan Cho stated, “I was able to observe how Turkey’s quality testing system operates at a national level. I was particularly impressed by the well-equipped laboratories serving various products and industrial sectors, as well as the organic and efficient organizational structure.”
Emphasizing that visiting the Togg Technology Campus was inspiring, President Hwan Cho said, “Seeing Turkey’s first local car production facility holds a special meaning. I am looking forward to seeing how Togg continues to innovate in the automotive industry.”
Finally, TSE President Şahin and ISO President Hwan Cho visited the South Korea Brotherhood Monument in Bursa National Garden. President Hwan Cho thanked President Şahin for their hospitality.
